How do I enroll in Excel High School?
Enrollment into Excel High School is quite simple. Students/parents should complete the enrollment application online and submit the application electronically; or print and complete the PDF application and return it with tuition payment to:Excel High School

All applications must be completed in full and signed either digitally or in print format. Excel High School accepts all major credit cards, cashier’s checks, money orders or personal checks for tuition payment. Once your application is received by an enrollment counselor, we will make contact with the student/parent within 24-hours to plan your desired course(s). Course access will be granted once payment for the course(s) has been received by Excel. Adult students enrolling into the High School Equivalency Certificate program will be given immediate access to their online program.
Is Excel High School Accredited?
Excel High School is Regionally Accredited by AdvancED and the North Central Association CASI for High School Courses and High School Diploma Programs. Our Regionally accredited online high school diploma (9-12), and all credits earned at Excel High School are accepted by other K-12 schools, Colleges, Universities, the Military and Employers.*Restrictions may apply concerning military enlistment depending upon on DOD current enlistment needs, so please call us with any questions. *As with all accredited online schools, EHS is a tier II High School. Adult High School Equivalency Programs are adult programs by nature and are not covered under AdvanCED. Full time high school diploma courses and diplomas (24-credit diploma) do fall under AdvancED.
AdvancED, North Central Association CASI are accrediting agencies recognized by the State Department of Education, CHEA and The United States Department of Education.
The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) are accreditation divisions of AdvancED. AdvancED, NCA CASI is the largest Government recognized accrediting agency in the world extending to 70-counties and 26,000 schools.
What Programs are Offered by Excel High School?
Excel High School offers a College Prep. High School Diploma, a General Studies High School Diploma, Adult High School Diplomas (9-12). and We also offer an Adult High School Equivalency Certificate Credential. All Our programs are designed for students to pursue higher education through a Community College, Career College, Technical College or University. Credentials earned at Excel High School are also designed to meet requirements for entry level employment. We advise students to call our counseling office at (952) 465-3700 so we can help you with college and career planning. The HSEC program is generally accepted at 2-year public institutions and employers. For Students seeking entrance into a 4-year University, we offer a college prep (24-credit) diploma. Excel High School does not offer a GED ® test leading to a GED ® test credential. The GED ® test is only available in person at a local testing office.Credentials that CAN be earned online:

Yes! Excel High School has a solid reputation within the academic community. Our graduates, in most cases, have went onto pursue employment, post-secondary education or to join the military. We find that most all colleges and employers accept credentials issued by a Regionally Accredited High School. Excel High School’s Accreditation is recognized by all 50-States Departments’ of Education and the US Department of Education. Each organization determines their own acceptance policies, which varies from state to state. Like with any high school, Excel High School cannot guarantee any particular organization will accept credits/diploma/certificates earned from our school. In most every case, we find that students’ are able to use their credits/diploma/ certificate without any problems. You can Start Today! Excel High School courses are taught 4-month semesters, similar to a college semester. Credit recovery courses are self-paced and can be taken at any time. Our high school diploma programs and High School Equivalency Certificate Programs are geared toward today's busy lifestyle, and we offer a great deal of flexibility to our students'. Whether you want to work toward a high school equivalency certificate or take full time high school classes following our semester schedule format.How do I know if online learning right for me?
A successful online learner must be a motivated self-starter and committed to the success of their education. While Excel High School offers a world-class education, it is ultimately up to the student to succeed. That can only be achieved by putting forth a lot of effort. Like anything, the more you put into your education the greater the benefit. YES! Excel High School offers credit recovery and summer school courses online. We want to help students’ graduate on-time! It is our intention to provide students with whatever level of service they require. We can offer a full curriculum for grades 6-12; Honors and AP Courses, or just one or two courses to satisfy your current school's graduation requirements. We also offer self-paced credit recovery courses and supplemental courses to help you complete your high school diploma. Our online courses and high school diploma are also an excellent option for home schooled children. We offer well over 100-accredited courses.What is the cost? We offer flexible and affordable payment plans.

You will notice the cost to attend Excel High School is less than half the cost of comparable accredited private high schools in the US. It is our goal to keep education affordable for everyone. Since we are able to keep our costs low, we pass these savings on to our students. We have no buildings to maintain, other than our administration offices; we have no schools busses to operate; we do not employ a facilities maintenance crew; we do not offer school lunch programs; so you can quickly see how we can be such an affordable option.
