How do I enroll in Excel High School?

Enrollment into Excel is quite simple. Students/parents should complete the enrollment application online and submit the application electronically; or print and complete the PDF application and return it with tuition payment to:

All applications must be completed in full and signed either digitally or in print format. Excel High School accepts all major credit cards, personal checks or electronic funds transfer. Once your application is received by an enrollment counselor, we will make contact with the student/parent within 24-hours to plan your desired course(s). Course access will be granted once payment for the course(s) has been received by Excel. Adult students enrolling into the HSEC program will be contacted by the program coordinator with their user name and password within-1-business day.

Is Excel High School Accredited?

Excel High School has successfully met the requirements for Regional Accreditation through AdvancED and the North Central Association CASI. EHS is also fully Accredited by the (NPSAA) National Private Schools Accreditation Group. Excel High School is registered with the Florida State Department of Education. Our Nationally accredited online high school diploma, High School Equivalency Certificate and all credits earned at Excel are accepted by other K-12 schools, Colleges, Universities, the Military and Employers. *Restrictions may apply concerning military enlistment depending upon on DOD current enlistment needs, so please call us with any questions. EHS offers a 100% money back guarantee for acceptance of all credits/diplomas/Certificates earned from our school. If you have any trouble using credits/diploma/Certificate from EHS, which is very doubtful, we will provide a full tuition refund if we are unable to work out acceptance with your school or employer.

Can I use a diploma from Excel High School to enroll into college, join the military or gain employment?

You can Start Today! Excel High School courses are taught 4-month semesters, similar to a college semester. Credit recovery courses are self-paced and can be taken at any time. Whether you want to work toward a high school equivalency certificate or take full time high school classes following our semester schedule format.

Can I attend Excel on a full or part time basis?

YES! Excel High School offers credit recovery and summer school courses online. We want to help students’ graduate on-time! It is our intention to provide students with whatever level of service they require. We can offer a full curriculum for grades 6-12; Honors and AP Courses, or just one or two courses to satisfy your current school's graduation requirements. We also offer self-paced credit recovery courses and supplemental courses to help you complete your high school diploma. Our online courses and high school diploma are also an excellent option for home schooled children. We offer well over 100-accredited courses.

You will notice the cost to attend Excel High School is less than half the cost of comparable accredited private high schools in the US. It is our goal to keep education affordable for everyone. Since we are able to keep our costs low, we pass these savings on to our students. We have no buildings to maintain, other than our administration offices; we have no schools busses to operate; we do not employ a facilities maintenance crew; we do not offer school lunch programs; so you can quickly see how we can be such an affordable option.

Does Excel offer payment options?

Who teaches the online courses at Excel?

All online high school courses and programs are taught by highly qualified instructors that hold at least a Master, or PhD degree and state teaching license relative to each instructor’s area of expertise. You can be sure that quality in education is our #1 goal!

What if the student has questions or problems while taking a course?

Each student is assigned an instructor and advisor for each course. Your instructor is available daily via Internet chat, email, Skype, Google+ or telephone. Support services are available to all Excel High School students.

What is the difference between Excel and traditional brick-and-mortar college-preparatory American high schools?

There is no difference in the college-preparatory curriculum between Excel and traditional American high schools. There is a significant difference in the flexibility offered to all Excel students in the way they can earn their high school credits online.

Is Excel less challenging than other traditional accredited American high schools?

Simply put, No. As an accredited American high school, Excel offers a flexible alternative for students; it is not an easier option than traditional accredited high schools. As a parent will I be kept informed of my students' progress?

Absolutely; as a parent, you will most likely be receiving more updates and information about your student's progress than ever before. We strongly feel that a parent's involvement in their child's education is critical to their overall success. Our teachers provide ongoing online reports to parents. You can always see how your child is performing by logging in to the Excel parents' section of our website. In addition, all full time high school students and their parents sign a parent/student/teacher contract each semester, which further strengthens the commitment to succeed on the part of everyone involved.

Who are Excel students?

Excel students are athletes, performers, military families and students who benefit from individualized instruction, students who prefer to accelerate, international students seeking an American high School diploma, part-time students, students who travel, Adult students returning to high school, home school and summer school students.
