Online Academic Advising and Support

Academic Advising and Support Services

The Excel High School Counseling Team can help you to prepare for plans with employment, college, the Military and beyond. All students have access to MyPlan, Excel's counseling portal. MyPlan will help you to discover your passions and career interest; as well as, provide students will a wealth of information on careers, college admissions requirements, scholarships, and FAFSA.

Prior to enrolling into a college or university, it is a good idea to contact your college admissions office and determine eligibility for admissions. There are many factors that post-secondary institutions consider during the enrollment process; e.g. if a student is requiring financial aid, they may be required to have good placement test scores, SAT or ACT scores. Every college establishes their specific entrance requirements, so please check with your local college admissions representative to be sure you are aware of their specific requirements for entrance. The last thing you want is any surprises during the enrollment process.

We have provided some valuable information, which will be very helpful for considering college.

Excel High School is a great school! My daughter was in another online highs school last year, but she was not challenged and was not being prepared for college.

Since starting this year at Excel, she is being fully challenged in honors courses. My daughter told me the other day, "mom, I have never had to work so hard in school". We love you Excel High School and Anna will be with you until she graduates next year.
