How Long Do I Have To Finish My Classes?

How long you have to finish your classes depends on the program and course type that you are enrolled in.

Review the information below for a breakdown of how long each program takes:

Full Time Enrollment

• Standard & Honors students have 12 months to complete full courses or 6 months to complete semester courses. 
• Middle School & Advanced Placement students have 10 months from the data of enrollment to complete full courses or 5 months to complete semester courses. 
• ACE credits must be completed within 4 months of enrollment. 

Part Time Enrollment

• Students enrolled with Excel to earn standard credits for summer school or credit recovery have 6 months to complete full or semester individual courses.
• AP full credit courses are allowed 10 months while semester courses are provided 5 months.
• ACE credits must be completed within 4 months of enrollment. 

Adult High School

• Adult students have 12 months to complete full courses or 6 months to complete semester courses. The time it will take to complete adult high school will depend on how many credits are transferred to Excel High School. Adult students not transferring credits can expect to complete in 9-12 months.

Extensions

All programs and courses are eligible for a 2 month extension for an additional fee.
