What Is The Grading Scale?
The grade scale used for scoring student work is different depending on the program students are enrolled in. You can find information about our Graduation Requirements, including minimum grade requirements, here.
Standard, Honors, & Adult Programs
When you’re enrolled in our Standard, Honors, or Adult High School diploma programs, you must pass your courses in order to earn your required credits. A passing grade includes letter grades of A, B, C, or D. The grade of F is not a passing score.
The grading scale is as follows:
- A = 90-100%
- B = 80-90%
- C = 70-79%
- D = 60-69%
- F = below 60%
AP Program
When you’re enrolled in our Advanced Placement (AP), you must pass your courses in order to earn your required credits. A passing grade includes letter grades of A, B, C, or D. The grade of F is not a passing score.
The grading scale for AP courses is as follows:
- A = 95-100%
- B = 88-94.9%
- C = 80-87.9%
- D = 70-79.9%
- F = below 70%
