Excel High School offers an online test prep course to prepare for the GED ® test.
The world is changing and people are getting smarter each day. More people than ever before are pursuing a higher level of education. Technological advances in community colleges and the workplace have made having a high school diploma or equivalent, essential for almost every worker and college student. If you want to obtain employment or advance in your career, you will need to demonstrate to your employer that you have at least a high school education. If you never finished high school, the GED ® test will serve as proof that you have acquired the equivalent of a high school education on your own. This Test Prep Course will help you prepare to take the GED ® test in person at an official testing center.
If you are comfortable reading web blogs, magazines, newspapers and you can add, subtract, multiply, and divide without the use of a calculator, you are halfway there! This course will help you develop the additional reading and thinking skills required to succeed in all five GED ® test areas: Writing Skills, Social Studies, Science, Literature, and Math. After completion of this course, you should be well-equipped to take—and pass—the GED ® test!
The GED ® test can only be taken in person at an authorized testing center. If you are planning on taking the GED ®, this is a great course to help you prepare.
Important: Some GED ® Testing Centers require proof that you have passed a GED ® test preparation course or the official practice tests before you can take the official GED ® tests. Before enrolling in this course, please check with the official GED ® Testing Center where you plan on taking your tests to make sure that this course will meet their specific requirements.
