If you’re ready to earn your high school diploma, you want the process to be as simple as possible. Earning your high school diploma through Excel High School’s self-paced online program is easy. Follow these steps, and you’ll be holding your diploma before you know it.
Step 1: Enroll Online
You enroll at EHS through a quick online process that includes filling out some personal information, a little bit about your educational background, and your first tuition payment. Enrollment can be done in a matter of minutes.
Step 2: Classes Are Assigned
All students are assigned classes within one to two business days. Every high school aged student has an Academic Success Coach who they can reach out to for guidance. If you have questions about the classes you’ve been assigned, simply reply to your Welcome Email, send a Help Desk Ticket, or call to speak to a school representative. We’ll get you in the right classes quickly so that you can start making progress right away!
Step 3: Send Transcripts
If you don’t have any credits to transfer from a previous school, you don’t have to worry about this step. But if you do, you can still start on your coursework while we wait to receive your transcript. Some schools will have a link on their school or district website where you can submit the information they need from you. The Transcript Request Form has all the information you need to get us your records as quickly as possible.
Step 4: Complete Required Coursework
Our students complete either a 21.5 or 24 credit high school diploma which meet accreditation requirements so that you can use your diploma for the military, college acceptance, or your career. You can transfer up to 75% of the credit requirements through classes you’ve taken at any previous accredited school. All EHS students have to take a minimum of 6 classes with us to graduate (1 English, 1 math, 1 science, 1 social studies, + 2 electives).
Step 5: Diploma Is Issued
Once you’ve completed and passed all of your coursework and final exams, Excel High School will send your official high school diploma and a copy of your official transcript to the address we have on file. Step 5 is the best step because you get to celebrate all you’ve accomplished while holding your diploma in your hands!
