Accreditation is an important factor when choosing a school, so Excel High School works hard to earn important accreditation and keep it in order to provide the best possible opportunities for our graduates. We are proud to announce that we have now earned elite accreditation through Middle States Association (MSA) Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
The Visit
During August of 2022, a team of evaluators from MSA visited with Excel leaders and staff to see first-hand the kind of work that is done to provide excellence in education to our students. They met with administrators, teachers, parents, and students, speaking to them about our programs and the types of support we offer. At the end of the weeklong evaluation process, they congratulated Excel on all that we’ve accomplished!
High-Quality Education
What does this mean for our students? Accreditation is an evaluation process through different respected organizations that schools voluntarily go through to make sure their diplomas are recognized by colleges, universities, jobs, and the military. Middle States Association has been working with schools for over 125 years, so they know plenty about what it takes for a school to help their students succeed. During their visit, the MSA team measured Excel High School’s performance and gave us their star of approval, meaning that our students can feel even more secure about choosing Excel for their academic provider.
Mission and Core Values
MSA determined that Excel’s Mission and Core Values represent the best interest of our students, and we are working hard to constantly provide the highest quality education for our students. Excel earned accreditation using the Achieving Excellence System-Wide protocol, which means we are working and planning for continuous growth and improvement, we believe in our graduates, and our students’ performance is at the heart of our work. We are an action-oriented school who integrates programs, services, and support with our students in mind.

MSA also commended Excel for its vision for the future. Every member of Excel’s staff works toward our plans as a unified team with our students and families at the heart of every decision and plan for the future.
