Transfer your credits to Excel High School and earn reaming credits to graduate, or enroll in our HSEC Program receive your accredited High School diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate!

Seniors, don’t let a certificate of completion spoil your future plans. If you have completed all of the requirements for graduation, but missed passing your state’s comprehensive exam, then the Excel High School can help you with options.

You can earn an accredited high school diploma through Excel High School by transferring the credits you have already earned to EHS, and by taking the remaining credits required to graduate online; or consider our High School Equivalency Certificate Program.

All transcripts are carefully reviewed by our counseling and advising staff to insure that all transferring students have earned a minimum of 18 high school credits in both core and elective courses. Students will need to complete additional credits through Excel High School to meet our graduation requirements. As a private school, we do not require a State exit exam.

Credit Requirements – General Studies Diploma
A minimum of 24 credits is needed for graduation in the following areas:
  • 4.0 English
  • 3.0 Mathematics
  • 3.0 Science
  • 3.0 Social Studies
  • 0.5 Physical Education
  • 0.5 Health
  • 0.5 American Government
  • 9.5 Electives

Note: In addition to any credits earned at previous schools, a minimum of 5-6 credits must be completed through Excel High School.

Claim It! Process
Claiming the high school diploma you earned is as simple as 1-2-3.
  1. Complete the online application and pay the program tuition, plus shipping; and download the “Request for Transcript” form.
  2. Fax a copy of your government issue ID; e.g. driver’s license, passport, etc. for proof of identity to the School Registrar at 952-465-3701.
  3. Submit the transcript request form to your previous high schools. Official high school transcripts will be sent to Excel High School for review by our counseling and advising staff. Official Transcripts should be mailed to:

  4. Consult with the EHS Counseling Office and complete the required courses online through Excel High School and receive your accredited high school diploma in a matter of months.
