If you have ever wondered what GED stands for, it means General Education Development. It is basically for anyone that did not complete high school and receive a diploma. It can be the next best thing to having a high school diploma. There are many questions people have about GED online that can help them when they prepare for the actual test. When you pass the GED than you will have the opportunity of getting a better job, advancing in your current job, having a better career and getting a better education. Taking and passing the GED will help you to have more security for your future, so it is important to know about how to get it and how it works.

Some of the questions people ask about getting a GED are what can I expect to be on the GED? The GED will have five tests for math, reading, writing, science and social studies. These tests will test your knowledge on all of these subjects. Another question is what score do I need to pass the test? This is a question we would all like to know. There is a minimum score of two hundred and a maximum of eight hundred with each test given. In order to pass each test you should score at least four hundred ten or more. Which is about sixty percent on each test that you take. You should be able to miss one out of every three questions and still be able to pass the test. Most people pass the GED test with using GED online preparation to get ready for it.

When taking the GED everyone will be different in the amount of time they need to prepare for it. Some people never study at all and still pass it just fine while others need to refresh their memories on certain subjects.
